Universities move a lot of people — and they move them at odd hours, to historic centres with narrow streets and strict access rules. A coach is almost always the right answer.
Oxford — the city of dreaming spires. Oxford's colleges host balls, graduations, conferences and open days year-round. The medieval street plan means parking is tight and access is restricted; a coach with a knowledgeable driver drops at the right gate, on time, and collects the same way. We serve Christ Church, Magdalen, New College, Balliol, Merton, Worcester and every other college — if your event is in Oxford, we know the lay of the land.
Cambridge — colleges, punting and May Balls. Cambridge has the same challenges: a compact historic core, limited parking and events that run late into the night. We move students and guests for May Balls, graduation weeks, college feasts and punting trips along the Backs — with late-night return runs to outlying colleges and park-and-ride accommodation.
Group sizes that suit universities. A society social might fill a 16-seater minibus; a college ball needs a 49 or 70-seater, sometimes several. We'll right-size the vehicle to the guest list and add a standby vehicle for the inevitable late runners.
Luggage and equipment. University trips often mean more than people — conference stands, ball decorations, rowing kit, band gear. Our coaches have the holds for it, and we can supply a dedicated luggage vehicle for larger events.
Staff and visitor transport. Beyond students, we move visiting academics, conference delegates and prospective students on open days. A clean, modern coach sets the right tone from the moment visitors arrive.
Book the dates that matter early. Graduation weeks, May Balls and the start of term are our busiest periods in both cities. Reserve your vehicle as soon as the date is set and we'll hold the same coach and driver across the whole event.
